About Me
Born in Australia, Jennifer Corren spent her formative years experiencing life in various locations throughout the country. Growing up in small country towns, the outback, and regional cities enabled her to socialize with all kinds of characters and helped shape her to become the gregarious, well-versed, and accepting person that she is today. Obvious talent from an early age meant Jennifer excelled in all things artistic through her school years and had a particular passion for acting, singing, and dancing.
After living in a small town for some time and dabbling in theatre, commercials, and modeling Jennifer’s ambitions and dreams could no longer be contained and at the age of 21, she sold all of her belongings, keeping only what would fit into her car, left friends and family and drove across to the other side of Australia to the ‘big smoke’ to pursue her lifelong dream & passion of becoming an actress.
Everything fell into place and it wasn’t long before she had turned her dreams into a reality. Jennifer would spend the next couple of years immersed in training in preparation for the industry both professionally and personally. She also performed in theatre productions, television commercials, and short films and before long made her way into feature films. Of particular note was the film Mosaic which Jennifer played a lead role in. Mosaic was a hit amongst national film festivals receiving rave reviews and kudos for its courageous storyline.
Jennifer enjoyed her success in Australia and wanted to broaden her life and career experience by working and living abroad. Deciding on London, almost immediately Jennifer started working in film, voiceover, television commercials, and music videos. During this time Jennifer’s work attracted a lot of attention from the press and it was here that she landed the role of Kate Currie after a grueling audition process for the thriller suspense, Rapture. A highlight from this time was working with DOP Geoff Boyle (Mutant Chronicles, BAFTA-winning About a Girl, Enemy at the Gates).
During this time Jennifer was also directed in the television comedy series GSOH amongst other projects by West End Producer Jamie Clark (Head of Touring for Bill Kenwright Ltd - A Few Good Men (Rob Lowe), Hayfever (Dame Judi Dench), A Glass Menagerie (Jessica Lange). Jamie is Currently General Manager for The Booking Office and Ampersand Productions)
An avid believer that training is a continuous part of the journey both personally, and as an actor Jennifer continued her training overseas as a full member of The Actors Centre in London (Early members included Judi Dench and Ian McKellen), as well as training with the renowned Ivana Chubbuck (Halle Berry, Charlize Theron, Eva Mendes, Jake Gyllenhaal) in London, Amsterdam, and Los Angeles.
Since returning to Sydney, Australia, Jennifer has had the pleasure of performing the role of Julie in CAMP at one of Australia’s most successful theatre companies, Ensemble Theatre. Many of Australia’s favourite performers have appeared at the Ensemble Theatre including Russell Crowe, Jack Thompson, and Georgie Parker to name a few, as well as international performers such as Greta Scacchi and Warren Mitchell.
Now with over 20 films under her belt and lengthy credits in television and theatre, Jennifer continues to work regularly and divides her time between Sydney and Los Angeles.

Jennifer Came through and crushed the role of Chance Reynolds.
Her energy was amazing and we couldn't ask for a better person to play this role. Jennifer was professional, took direction like a pro and embodied this character better than we could have imagined.
You will be in tears laughing as she delivers her lines.

It was very apparent when watching Jen’s previous work that there was a subtlety in her performance that revealed deep involvement with the character’s she played. She cared about them and felt them. This is what we needed for the role of Beck. Not only did she visually embody our character but she became the character during the production. She’s a terrific actor, 100% committed to the production, fun to work with and extremely professional.
